Classes 2, 3 and 4 follow a carefully planned two-year curriculum cycle due to our mixed age classes. We are following the Year B curriculum in the 2026 – 2027 academic year.
We deliver our curriculum through a thematic approach, enabling pupils to make meaningful connections across their learning. History, Geography, Design Technology, Art and Design and Science are taught through carefully planned topics that provide purpose and coherence across the curriculum. English is planned to complement these themes, helping pupils deepen their understanding through reading, writing and discussion.
To strengthen progression and curriculum coherence, the whole school studies the same curriculum area each term. This allows teachers to build learning systematically, share expertise and ensure that challenge is appropriately matched to pupils' stages of development.

Curriculum Enrichment
Our curriculum enrichment enhances classroom learning through a wide range of memorable experiences, visits, visitors, celebrations and events. These opportunities are carefully planned to enrich the curriculum, broaden horizons and develop pupils' cultural capital, helping children make meaningful connections between their learning and the world around them.
Through our enrichment programme, pupils develop confidence, curiosity, resilience and a lifelong love of learning while deepening their understanding of our curriculum drivers: Catholic Social Teaching, Resilience, Sustainability, Our Community, and Diversity & Inclusion. They use this learning to explore how they can use their gifts and talents to make the world a better place, now and in the future.
